About Crayon Years
Crayon Years is an iPhone and iPad app that keeps every drawing your child makes, age by age, in your own iCloud. It is made by Zeus Apps B.V., a small, independent app studio in the Netherlands.
Why Crayon Years exists
The fridge fits three drawings. A child brings home hundreds.
From about 2 to 12, the drawings keep coming. The best ones go on the fridge, the rest go in a box or, quietly, in the recycling. What gets lost is not one drawing but the steps in between: the first face, the first name written under it, the day a scribble became a house with a door.
Crayon Years is built to do two things at once: clear the paper off the table, and keep the art in sight. You snap a drawing in a few seconds, it lands in your child's timeline by age, and it can come back on a Home Screen widget, at night in StandBy, or full screen on an old iPad. Year by year, you can watch them grow up in their own lines.
Who makes it
Crayon Years is made by Zeus Apps B.V., an independent app studio in the Netherlands. The founder, Thien, is an iOS engineer and a parent.
The app is for iPhone and iPad and launches on 17 November 2026, first in the United States and the Netherlands, then in Germany, France and Spain.
How Crayon Years makes money
From people who choose Pro. Not from ads, and never from data.
Free keeps 24 new drawings a year, for as many children as you have. Pro is €19.99 a year with 14 days free, €2.99 a month, or €44.99 once. Apple handles every payment, and one purchase covers your whole Apple family.
- No ads. There are no ad networks in the app and no advertising ID.
- No data sales. We never sell data. We can't see your children's drawings in the first place.
- No server of ours for art. Every drawing lives in your own iCloud. That costs us nothing to host, which is why the free plan can stay free and a one-time price is possible at all.
The only thing that reaches us is anonymous counts, like how many drawings were saved today, with a switch in Settings to turn them off. The privacy page shows exactly what leaves your phone.
What happens to your drawings if Crayon Years ever stops?
Nothing is lost.
Your drawings are stored in your own iCloud under your Apple ID, not on our servers. You can export every original as a ZIP, or the whole gallery as a PDF, at any time, on Free or Pro. If you stop paying, every drawing stays yours to view and export, forever.
